A champion of public schools becomes a visible power house for education.
Established 30 years ago, the Berkeley Public Education Foundation is a strong supporter of Berkeley public school teachers and students. As they looked ahead to their next 30 years, the board realized the need to be more visible throughout the school system to teachers who applied for grants, to parents and to larger potential donors.
Radiant worked with the board, staff, donors and others in the community to understand the communications issues and the value of the organization. From this work, a new name emerged – The Berkeley Public Schools Fund – with the energetic tagline “Jumpstart their future”, focusing on the ultimate goal of supporting the children in public schools.
The new look, name and tagline made the commitment to public schools visible to everyone in the Berkeley community.
