Steven Donaldson is the brand strategist and big picture guy. As the co-founder and a principal of RadiantBrands he plans overall strategy and marketing for brand development and campaigns and provides input to the creative process. His work includes naming and branding for clients such as Ask.com, HP, Wells Fargo as well as placebranding for the city of Oakland and Downtown Berkeley.
He has spoken about branding and multichannel marketing at various venues locally and nationally, including the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, e-commerce developers’ conferences in Miami, the International Downtown Association annual meeting in Minneapolis and the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco. He has been featured in stories on online branding in Direct Magazine and the San Francisco Business Times as well as on CNET Television. Steven continues to expand the firm’s client list and range of branding and integrated marketing assignments. Steven has a degree in Urban Studies and Economics from San Francisco State University.
Michael likes to look deep and see the details. He wants to know how that one piece fits with the rest. What’s the connection? He dives deep into the brand analysis to find those key differentiators. Zinke leads RadiantBrands’ branding analysis for clients, focusing on discovering and defining the unique aspects of a brand or product that can drive successful brand strategy and integrated marketing programs as well as website and online marketing campaigns.
He has extensive experience with brand development and developing marketing strategies and integrated campaigns with clients. Michael Zinke has a degree in Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley and worked in city planning in the Bay Area prior to co-founding RadiantBrands. He was born in Oakland and is deeply interested in the changing regional roles played by the cities of the Bay Area, and how placebranding and careful development initiatives can alter the playing field.
Sierra focuses on coordinating all activities on projects and managing the creative process. Her background in graphic design, technical writing, branding and project management means she brings a deep understanding of audience and a keen eye on design to all Radiant projects. Her work includes experience in the semiconductor and solar industries as well as author branding and publishing. She holds an undergraduate degree in Art from San Francisco State University and a Masters of Science in English, Technical Communication, from Utah State University.
Andrea has over 20 years of creative and innovative public relations, corporate communications and marketing experience in the B2C space. She creates highly visible and successful campaigns for some of the biggest consumer brands today. With a robust background in lifestyle and fashion PR, Andrea has worked with clients and experts in virtually every discipline and boasts an impressive list of media contacts. Andrea has an Associate Arts degree in fashion merchandising from FIDM of San Francisco and 8+ years in fashion sales & merchandising.
David is an award-winning communications executive that has successfully worked with large-scale, mid-sized, and startup companies. He’s a seasoned public relations veteran and team leader known for his exceptional strategic, creative, and media relations skills. A data-driven social media pioneer, expert, and speaker, David brings a unique blend of cross-channel expertise to create, execute, and advance fully integrated communications programs that deliver measurable returns.
Hao-Wen has design experiences in both print and digital media including posters, annual reports, icon design, and UX for responsive websites. She has works on developing advertising campaign for print and online. She earned her master’s degree in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta Georgia.
Gayle Gillfillan is a seasoned strategic market research consultant with extensive experience conducting primary, secondary, and customer-insights research. Much of the work she has undertaken has been in support of strategic branding projects, often for start-ups and companies involved in product innovation. She has experience in a diverse range of industries, including high-tech, agriculture, aviation and transportation. Her project experience spans both public and private sectors and has included work in market development, feasibility studies, promotion, analysis and marketing plans. Gillfillan read for her Masters in Management as a Sloan Fellow at London Business School, completed the Executive Education course on Branding at Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and received a Bachelor of Science Degree (with honors) in Agricultural Business Management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Nora routinely plans and facilitates meetings for groups from 3 people to 100 or more. In addition to working in person, Nora has often conducted fact-finding interviews through facilitated meetings on conference calls and Skype. Nora is known for her insightful approach to helping clients clarify new strategies, goals and plans designed to develop business. She has also acted as a “shadow consultant” to executives, helping them understand the human dynamics at play in their own organizations. She has provided consulting services to Fortune 1000 companies such as Chevron, General Electric, Deloitte & Touché and Deloitte Consulting, as well as SMBs, startups, non profits and privately held partnerships.
